Prefer 5 yrs. experience within a heavy industrial environment or as a maintenance mechanic.
Duties will include; maintenance and repair of equipment, mechanical systems, buildings and auxiliary equipment.
Coordinates with production staff, management and plant engineer for repair, maintenance and improvement of existing systems, and installation of new equipment.
Responsibilities:
Disassemble, replace parts and reassemble pumps, drives, indexers, motors, gearboxes, etc.
Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Pipe threading.
Soldering and brazing copper pipe.
Fabricate and repair parts as needed.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams.
Ability to use Voltmeters and Amp meters to test circuits.
Run electrical conduit and wiring.
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
This is an 8 hr. day, 40 hr. work week.
