Company has been in business for over 75 yrs.

This is a temp to hire position with potential raise at hire and excellent benefits.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

Inspect machined work pieces

Read blueprints or engineering specifications to obtain product information

Test surface finish of work

Measure dimensions such as length, height, and distance between reference points using gauges.

Inspect first run parts for approval

Use statistical process control techniques

Verify accuracy of all gauges

Must be able to read blueprints and job routings to determine part specifications and order requirements.

Complete set up of machine needed, including all required tooling, adjustments and gauging.

Verify conformance of first piece production, making sure all dimensions are in conformance with print specifications.

Tear down set-ups after job is complete. Inspect parts regularly.
